About us

The gap we exist to close

Cloud and DevOps are some of the best-paid, fastest-growing entry points into tech. We think getting in should not depend on your age, your background, or how much you can afford.

CloudIskole

Sri Lanka's tech industry has a genuine shortage of Cloud and DevOps engineers. These are among the best-paid entry points into the field, and unlike many careers, they do not require a degree to begin - they require demonstrable skill.

The problem is access. International platforms price their courses in dollars and assume background knowledge most beginners have not been given. Local institutes are expensive and largely confined to Colombo. Neither is built for someone in Matara or Vavuniya with a laptop and the drive to learn - whatever their age or what they have done before.

So we built something that is. Whether you just left school, are switching careers after ten years in something else, or are entirely self-taught and starting tonight, the door should be open.

CloudIskole is built for exactly that person: practical Cloud, DevOps and Software Engineering training that is affordable, online, and designed from the ground up for absolute beginners, no matter where they are starting from.

What we stand for

Four commitments we hold ourselves to

Priced for students here

Our fees are set in rupees against what a Sri Lankan student can actually afford - never converted from a dollar price built for another market.

Only what gets you hired

We read local job postings and teach the tools they name. No filler modules, and no time spent on skills nobody is recruiting for.

Genuinely beginner-first

Every track assumes you have never used a terminal. We explain the thing before we use the word for the thing.

Honest about outcomes

We will not promise you a job. We will give you real skills and real projects you can show an employer.

Want to talk to us?

Whether you are a student deciding where to start, or an employer looking for trained juniors, we would like to hear from you.
